As a brand that brings the freshness and beauty of flowers to the indoors, Flowered & Co needed a visual identity that had the same naturally appealing elements as their luxurious boxes of flowers. When Julissa, the brand’s founder, approached me to help her create something that embodied a contemporary yet endearing sense of luxury, I knew we’d be able to find a very happy medium.
Drawing inspiration from the intersection between natural shapes and geometric design, I took a minimal approach that would create an experience as unique as her brand’s flower boxes — and merge with anyone’s interior design. To lead her full brand identity, print, and packaging design, I chose a sans serif font that would balance a modern yet timeless design. Then I created a logomark that symbolises an infinite flower within a colour palette that reaffirmed the brand’s effortless sense of luxury.
With a beautiful brand identity in hand, we moved into building a clear customer experience. Stylish paper boxes seemed like a very on-brand place to start. They served a dual purpose by creating a way for Flowered & Co to stand out as a brand while being a keepsake to repurpose and hold memories long after the flowers had gone.
Since their launch a few years ago, Flowered & Co has gone from a budding brand to one with a permanent store, online boutique, and a prestigious collaboration with American designer Jonathan Adler that was displayed at the Miami Design District. Their modern new brand made sure they rose to every occasion.
