Bronze Award for GT Studio and LIV Botanics

Still celebrating the Bronze Award won at the Creativepool launch ceremony in London!

The packaging design created for LIV Botanics made it to the Creativepool Annual 2022, and we’re head over heels with excitement!

Creativepool is the hub that connects the global creative industry. This edition of The Annual presents a fantastic showcase of the winning creative work, people, brands, and agencies that achieved creative excellence over the past 18 months.

This year has seen some of the most awe-inspiring work in the Annual’s history. And what a year it’s been, with the new work-from-home environment bringing with it disruption and uncertainty that couldn’t be overstated. It was amazing to see, however, that the creative spirit cannot be dampened.

"Loved the high quality luxe design of the product and packaging. The use of texture and color helps reinforce its roots in nature and commitment to sustainability. Connected use of visual identity across elements highlights it's premiumness."

Melody Macaluso, Creativepool Judge

The Creativepool Annual 2022 winners were announced at a celebratory event held at East London’s exclusive Banking Hall on the 1st of September 2022.

Home to the creative industries’ most talented people and the planet’s most innovative companies, Creativepool is the hub that connects the global creative industry.
The 9th edition of The Annual offers a collection of the best and brightest campaigns, brands, agencies, industry leaders and emerging talent from across the globe.

Exhibiting the monumental range of talent across the creative sector, The Annual is an inclusive compendium of the best work from the entire creative industry, showcasing work from every facet of the sector. Unique in its approach, entries are judged by an international panel of judges, including some of the biggest names in the industry, as well as representatives from global brands.

A special thanks goes to LIV Botanics for trusting Giada Tamborrino Studio with their brand from the very first step, from an eco-conscious brand identity to a sustainable packaging design.

Inspired by old encyclopaedia books, botanical drawings, camellia gardens, and lush nature, we brought to life the brand's visual identity with vintage references and influences from the contemporary world. We then applied it to the more tangible elements: packaging.

Finally, to create a cohesive and memorable unboxing experience, we selected sustainable materials that would represent the brand's sustainability commitment and remind of ancient, precious botanical books without compromising on style or quality, simply because there is no need to.

To minimise the brand's carbon footprint, we printed locally with plant-based, non-toxic inks on elephant grass fibres grown a few Km far from the city of Amsterdam. The primary packaging box involves no glue, and it unfolds flat, revealing botanical drawings of the key ingredients included in each product along with their botanical name and information. The labels used for the bottles and jars are plastic-free, while the secondary packaging, paper tape, and wrapping paper used for the shipping are 100% recycled and recyclable, printed with non-toxic, plant-based inks.

Thanks to Creativepool for the opportunity, and to all the creatives that participated and made this possible! You can view all the winners here.
